Contextualist approach: A discussion on electricity and battery Training of science teachers.
Keywords:
Theacher training, electricity, batteries.Abstract
Several studies show that the use of the History and Philosophy of Science (HFS) in education, specifically in Chemistry Teaching is necessary, since it can allow a greater understanding of Sciences. In this sense, the use of such an approach allows to form more critical and reflective citizens. Thus, this paper seeks a literature about the contributions of electrical studies in developing concepts on battery, where discusses a presentation of the episodes and historical controversies occurred in the construction of such concepts. It is believed that considerations about these episodes contribute to the construction of scientific knowledge and teacher training.
