The use of video in classroom

This research presents a reflection on the use of video in the classroom in the School Hall Educational Center Tiradentes in the city of Neopolis, SE. The objective is to observe how the teachers of this school using video in the classroom and what their motivations to work with this technological resource. For this, it is a comparison between the reality of using video in that school and the proposed pedagogical use of this technological resource based on the theoretical assumptions of the work of Moran (1995) and Mandarino (2002). This study was conducted with fifteen elementary school teachers of that school, who semi-open questionnaires were applied. The analysis of the collected data shows that in order to produce positive results in student learning with the use of this technological resource, it is necessary that the habits that school in relation to professionals and equipment therein are modified.
