The survey followed the methodology developed exploratory and aimed to analyze the level of commitment of students graduating from basic education to environmental issues, as well as to verify the implementation of interdisciplinary practices by faculty of final years School District of Basic Education. Data were collected through questionnaires open, conducted with faculty and staff policy, and pre-structured questionnaires with students of 8th and 9th years of basic education. It was found that all involved feel important to undertake actions to promote environmental education, but not all educational spaces that open to debate and interdisciplinary planning. Many students already perform important actions to protect the environment, but there is still much to do. We conclude that there is a need for further discussions and studies on the subject and that teachers, students and the wider community to take responsibility with the formation of citizens and protecting the environment.Downloads
