The central functions of the City of Itabaiana/SE: a preliminary approach

This study examines the central functions of the City of Itabaiana/SE, through the demand and the extent determined by the supply and distribution of goods and services within the state of Sergipe. For so much, it used the Theory of the Central Places, seeking to analyze the maximum space and minimum reach, established by the administrative urban functions, commercial and in the services offer. Such aspects were initially observed from the municipal district constitution policy (century XIX final), once, the city would arise as “agricultural barn” and at the same time, of the expansion of the urban activities. This way, it tried to demonstrate Itabaiana's Solidity as a centralness in the offer varied of goods and of services, inclusive as regional polar region, materialized in the multiplicity of commercial establishments and of services, as well as in the your market accomplished on Wednesdays and Saturdays.Downloads
