Characterization of comercial transparent plane glass
Keywords:
glass characterization, plane glass, thermal analysis, misura.Abstract
Plane glasses represent great importance in the global market. In relation to production and revenues, this type of glass is behind glass for barrels. By the fact of the plane glass not to be recyclable by traditional manners, this study aimed characterized chemically and thermally samples collected in the form of glass scrap to serve as a basis for future studies on reuse of waste. The scrap of plane glass was fragmented and ground. Then chemically (X-ray fluorescence) and physically through analysis of the size of particles (laser diffraction) characterized as well as through the heating microscopy (MISURA). The study provides figures for subsequent work on harnessing these materials.Downloads
