Some considerations about the formation and actuation of Sergipe leading painters in the nineteenth century

This article presents the initial considerations about the formation process and the actuation of the three mainly painters from Sergipe of XIX century. They are: Horácio Hora (1853-1890), Oséas dos Santos (1865-1949) and Cândido Aragonez de Faria (1849-1911). Thus, the objective of this work is beginning the study about their educational trajectory, since, beside their experience on the arts exercise, they had lectured similar disciplines in ateliers, academies and others educational institutions, and, as well as, impulsion the construction of the arts’ history lecture in Sergipe.Downloads
