UniRede is a consortium of several PIHE (Public Institutions of HigherEducation), which has as purpose in agreement with the Adhesion Term that created it, "potentializing theaccess to the public university teaching, as well as to contribute for the teaching-learning processimprovement towards Education, Science, Technology, Art and Culture areas in all its levels andmodalities practiced in those PIHE", by means of offering courses which holds the graduation, mastersdegree, extension and extended education levels at distance. It is believed that the creation of a nationalconsortium among PIHE as the one of UniRede, main aim of this study, is an important step for theinstitutionalization and accessibility of DE in the country, intending that projects as this serves asinitiatives to the establishment of public politics of fomentation to DE. However, during this studydevelopment, it was noticed the absence of continued actions by UniRede such as in national or regionallevel, as well as of the presentation of reliable results on the implanted and developed programs by thisconsortium.Downloads
