Space production of District of Estância/SE: An analysis from its coast

Abstract

The present work presents an approach of the historical aspects of the municipal district of Estância/SE,with the intention of contributing with one analyzes concerning its process of space production and,consequently the economical isolation in that the resident population lives in the coast. Through abibliographical study it was verified that the process began in the century XVI with the priests Jesuits'arrival, in the Saco beach, consolidating inside this territorial segment, assuming then, a configurationopposite for out of its own space and articulated for interests of the external market, causing asocioeconomic unbalance among the rural and urban way verified until the current days.
