Abstract

The objective of this study is to discuss the feasibility of installing a plant to manufacture briquettes coconut and glycerin for energy generation in the state of Sergipe. Specifically, the paper presents the PNPB and supply of glycerin with the creation of the program, show the of use glycerin for the production of briquettes and technology for small scale production, the supply of coconut and glycerin feedstock. The results show that it is feasible to deploy a plant for productions of briquettes on a small scale, the financial results related to the present value, internal rate of return and payback are better for the plant 3.
