This research is based on the presentation of contributions of ludic activities for the learning process in chemistry, since several researches indicate a voluminous difficulty in capturing the subject contents by students of basic education, showing the need for development of new methodologies pedagogic didactic. For this study, in addition to conducting a bibliographic review, there was also an investigative field research, through the application of lessons, questionnaires, games and content analysis with the objective of evaluating the efficacy of such methods in the construction of chemical knowledge. The results showed that the ludic methodology landed a significant growth in the teaching-learning process, showing that with the project development students have obtained a clearer understanding and elaborate on the subject, as well as the specific knowledge of the discipline.
