Keywords:
Rural Education, Chemistry Teaching, Rationality IslandsAbstract
This paper discusses how the chemistry teaching can occur through the methodology of Rationality Islands. The analysis of the data came from the readings of the coastal sector pedagogical political project (PPP), the pedagogical course project (PPC) degree course in Rural Education and the account of pedagogical practice developed in two classes of the course, one located in the assentamento Contestado in city of Lapa/PR and in other city of Cerro Azul/PR. The theoretical and reflective goal of this article was to propose theoretically 5 rationality islands to work with Rural Education of topics related directly or indirectly to the chemistry teaching. What can be seen through the collected data is that the design methodology can be made possible, in the case of chemistry education through Rationality Islands theory.
