Lepidoptera of an urban forest remnant in South of Brazil

In this study are showed the results of a Lepidoptera survey performed in an urban forest remnant in the municipality of Joaçaba, Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil. Specimens were sampled between August and December, 2013, by observation and capture. A total of 46 species of Lepidoptera were sampled, all belonged to seven different families. Most species had a low constancy in the area, the species with more constancy were Heliconius erato, Vanessa braziliensis, Adelpha syma e Anartia amathea.
