Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the hydraulic performance of a drip irrigation system localized with two lateral lines per row of plants, through an analysis of the emission uniformity of water in three distinct situations and profile the water blade distributed in the area experimental. The experimental procedures were conducted in Fazenda Vale do Sol, municipality of Jequié, Bahia, in the period from February to October 2011. The experimental area of 0.18 ha was irrigated by drip irrigation system consists of two drip lines per row side plant drip, flow 1.6 L.h^-1 and 196 kPa pressure. Methodology was applied by considering three cases: flow rates from the side line right of the row of plants; flow rates from the sideline to the left of the row of plants and the average flow between these positions. The uniformity coefficient mostly showed values rated as excellent with an average of 90.15% among all, 93.10% and 94.13%, respectively for the conditions analyzed.
