Abstract

This study aims to evaluate nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) e potassium (K) tissue accumulation in physic nut cultivation in response to different substrates and nitrogen sources. The trial was conducted in an environment with shading of 50%. The treatments were arranged in a factorial 4 x 2, correspond, respectively, to the sources of nitrogen and substrates, and were distributed according to the a completely randomized design (CRD) with five replications. The substrates used were: clay soil, and clay soil:sand (1:1 v/v). The nitrogen sources were: ammonium sulfate (N1); calcium nitrate (N2); urea (N3); without added of nitrogen (N4). After 80 days of grown the seedling material was dried at 65 ° C and then chemical analyzed. It was observed that nitrogen fertilization influenced the relation shoot / root ratios. The nitrogen accumulation in leaf tissues was higher in treatments at which nitrogen source was calcium nitrate. Phosphorus and potassium concentration was favored by calcium nitrate and urea as well.
