O Quartel infantil:representações dos grupos escolares sergipanos
Abstract
Os grupos escolares foram disseminados em Sergipe a partir do início do século XX. No processo de difusão desse modelo educacional foram criadas inúmeras metáforas, entre as quais se destacou a de quartel. O objetivo desse artigo é analisar a relação entre os primeiros grupos escolares e os quartéis de Sergipe no início do século XX. A partir da análise de relatórios, anúncios, pronunciamentos e imagens dos primeiros grupos se tornou possível tecer conexões entre os modelos arquitetônicos das duas instituições.
