Contribuição para o conhecimento da lepidopterofauna de Santa Catarina, Brasil

The aim of this study was to contribute for the knowledge on Lepidoptera fauna of Santa Catarina State, South of Brazil, by means of consults in scientific collections available on virtual environment (internet). In total, 1156 species of Lepidoptera were registered in 40 municipalities of Santa Catarina State, belonging to 20 families, where Erebidae, Saturniidae and Nymphalidae were the most detached. Among the species listed, possibly 30 had no published records in the state.
