The paper presents the results of an empirical exercise and reflective about the use of social networks in the proposed teaching and learning, investigating their possible role as a teaching tool, by increasing adherence to the individual digital tools available in online environments. To this end, we verified the performance of the teacher in the classroom in relation to the use of media, especially the computer with Internet access, taking place between the public teachings of the State School Senator Walter Franco in Estancia, an exploratory research also educational, in the molds of action research, aiming to foster a more meaningful learning. The project stemmed from the awareness and preparedness of the teacher, offering new perspectives on the use of Information Technology and Communication in the teaching and learning, focusing on the use of social networks as a pedagogical tool.
