Creation of indicators for the evaluation of the action of the stem bleeding (Ceratocystis paradoxa) in coconut palm (Cocos nucifera L.)

The culture of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera L.) is considered one of the most important perennial cultures, being capable to compose a solemnity-maintainable system of exploration. However the incidence of plagues and diseases in the coconut palm plantation of Brazil constitute a limit problem to that culture, above all with the appearance of the stem bleeding, disease caused by the mushroom Ceratocystis paradoxa (De Seynes) Moreau, that comes causing great damages to the producers. The objective of the work went build indicators to aid in the evaluation of the action of the stem bleeding in coconut palm. That Matrix PEI/ER was used (Pressure, State, Impact/Effect, Response). Identifying 15 indicators that can contribute to evaluation of the incidence degree and of economic damage on the part of the mushroom.
