Abstract

Currently, forestry has been developing intensively cloning in order to achieve high volumetric productivity at a low cost and ensuring good wood quality and resistance to pests and diseases. In Sergipe, due to the scarcity of natural resources which occurs by high demand of wood in different ventures, resulting in the degradation of ecosystems, it is necessary the deployment of commercial forests in order to reduce the impact and pressure on natural areas. The present study aimed to conduct an assessment of growth of experimental planting involving 3 clones of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus) in the state of Sergipe, with the purpose of verify the behavior forestry in the region. The experiment was conducted in Village Aldeia, located in the municipality of Itaporanga D'Ajuda - SE. The experiment had 3 treatments with 4 replications in a total of 12 plots where were measured the height and diameter of 6 individuals per plot to calculate the cylindrical volume. For statistical analysis, was performed the Tukey test at 1% through software Assistat 7.6. The BN 41 clone was superior in all variables measured, with 5.78 m for height, 6.23 cm for DBH and volume to 16,968393 m³, differing statistically from the other in diameter and volume.
