Social impact assessment in the tourist area: waterfall of stops in the city of Mãe d'Água - PB

This research proposes to investigate a better understanding of the intensity of the social impacts suffered as a result of increased tourism and propose mitigation measures in the waterfall of stops in the city of Mother Water - PB. For diagnosis of social impact, we applied a semi-structured questionnaire, with the target population of the urban area of Mother Water. Considering the open questions, the consultation highlighted as major influences and tourism, the increase in income for the city, the development of trade, economic factors and the recognition of the municipality. Visitors mostly do not keep, and pollute the environment with household waste. Despite being a major tourist spot for the city does not, it shows no infra-structure and flags.Downloads
