Potential biotech Aroeira species Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi and Sabia Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia Benth for recovering marginal slopes down in San Francisco.

One of the used techniques for soil bioengineering slope stabilization is the cutting, which is a type of vegetative propagation, in which live cuttings are used to obtain plants. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of cuttings of Aroeira and Sabia considering their survival rate and diameter of the cuttings. After its establishment is possible to identify that fertilization levels did not play a important role in rooting but its location in relation to the slope, having the advantages that were situated in places with better soil humidity and lightness.
