Diversity of insect fauna in an experimental planting of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus) in the state of Sergipe.

To evaluate the relationship between the number of insect species and number of individuals occurring in an ecosystem, uses of diversity indexes. The objective of this study was to survey evaluating the richness and abundance of insect fauna in three experimental planting eucalyptus clones and checking which presents a greater diversity of insects associated. We performed three collections being used pitfall traps and entomological nets to catch insects in assessing the diversity of insects in the area we used the following parameters: Wealth Index (WI); Gleason (Dg); Menhinick (Db). All indices used were adapted for use by order. Throughout the three samples collected were found insects belonging to eight orders, the most abundant and present in all areas and traps collected the Hymenoptera and Orthoptera, reaching 89% of the insects collected. Clone E02 has the greatest number of orders and associated smaller number of individuals on the other hand, the clone E01 has the smallest number of associated commands and has the largest number of individuals with approximately 39% of the collected insects.
