Preliminary survey of the avifauna in Parque Municipal da Pedra do Segredo in the Municipality of Caçapava do Sul, Southern Brazil

This study turns disposable a preliminary list of birds found in Parque Municipal da Pedra do Segredo, municipality of Caçapava do Sul, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. In this paper, 81 species inserted in 16 orders and divided in 35 families were registered between October and November months. Municipality disposes a list birds with 180 recorded species, however, the present study adds the contribution of eight new registers: Glaucidium brasilianum, Antrostomus rufus, Lurocalis semitorquatus, Synallaxis cinerascens, Synallaxis frontalis, Leptopogon amaurocephalus, Elaenia mesoleuca e Pipraeidea melanonota.Downloads
