The present work presents the characteristics geo-environmental of the village Porto do Mato, with theintention of contributing in the construction of an analysis about sustainability of the social resident actorsin this town. Through a study of the geographical and environmental aspects we try to understand theantropic action practiced by the community and its correlations with the conditions socio economicsthere. Ahead of the analysis, it was checked what the current space configuration of the village Porto doMato based on the exploration of the natural medium, providing, a process of degradation of theenvironment, reflecting about the relation with the coastal ecosystems existent in the study area. It wasnoticed also that the socioeconomics conditions of the community do not escape of the Brazilian reality,where the public power legitimizes its attitude lack due to unsatisfactory life condition of the community.Downloads
