Abstract

The aim this study was to characterize the phenology of the species Lafoensia replicata Pohl. in a transition area between the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes, located in Bom Jesus, PI. Twenty individuals Lafoensia replicata Pohl. analyzed the flowering, defoliation and fruiting phenophases. For data analysis, and a qualitative description, we calculated indices of sync for individuals and for the population. The results for the phenological characterization of the species was as follows: defoliation from March to October, sprouting from October to March, flowering from April to October and fruiting from July to December. As the index of sync, this was perfect for the budding and fruiting phenophases.
