Impact of Antibiotic Prophylaxis in childbirth

A quantitative descriptive study was carried through, with the objective to verify the frequency of the antibiotic use in childbirths, mainly in relation to the antibioticoprofilaxia. The results had shown that the number of caesarean in the institution is next to the precognitions of the Health department (36.86%); the use of the antibioticoterapia is high (86.36%); e with significant lapsing of cloranfenicol (52,63%). One concludes that the revision of the therapeutically behaviors and performance of the Commission of Control and Prevention of the Infections Related to the assistance to the Health, through the awareness of the professionals how much to the use of the antibioticoprofilaxia protocols, main the efficient ones for the reduction of wastefulness are measured and the prevention of the bacterial resistance.Downloads
